Lines on Canvas pages are created hr style in html. Here is the code for the double centered line above.

Using this code, you can edit the thickness, line style, color and length. The possibilities are limitless!

Line Thickness

Thickness is a number of pixels (px). Height: 8px; is the thickness of the orange line at the top of the page. Look for the [number] px to change line thickness.

Color blocks fill the page background. You will open (<div>) to begin a shaded area on a page and close (</div>) the div to end the shading and return to the default white background. The example is a heading 2 level (h2). You can select the text and change to h3 or paragraph depending on the formatting needed on your page.

You create a series of shaded bars on a page using paragraph format <p>.

Paste one bar on your page. Select "Return" to add additional lines: <p>/bar.
Hyperlink within your course using the "Course Link" feature in the Rich Content Editor (RCE).
To add plain paragraphs under the lines, open html </> and add a <p>type here </p>. Exit html and add to your page. If you add text between, you may need to format the text in the shaded line as heading 2.
