Class Description:        

Economics Simplified. This class will cover the basics of economics, including a review of the definitions, history, and how it correlates to our everyday life. Students will also explore market systems, and the 4 stages of a typical business cycle. This course serves as a good primer to help kids develop a career interest in Economics.

Class Goals/Outcomes:                                 

• Learn various economic terms and definitions
• Learn about how economics affect business and the world
• Learn the economic background of starting a business (lemonade stand)
